Cutting Edge Decking was founded by Emad Mohamed, a structural steel specialist with over 30 years of combined executive leadership and engineering expertise spanning Egypt, Qatar, and the United States.
Emad's engineering education focused on structural steel, and his career included managing major commercial construction projects in the Middle East before taking leadership roles at Myrex Industries and Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. — giving him deep knowledge of every link in the steel supply chain.
His vision was direct: build a manufacturing company that combines cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship, delivering precision steel decking that contractors, architects, and engineers can rely on — every single time.

Emad Mohamed
Emad holds a civil engineering degree with a structural steel specialization and spent years managing large-scale commercial projects across the Middle East before returning to the US to build Cutting Edge Decking from the ground up.
His leadership at Myrex Industries and Crystal Steel Fabricators gave him an unmatched perspective on quality control, logistics, and what contractors and engineers actually need from their steel supplier. That hands-on expertise is built into everything we do.
