Cutting Edge Decking supplied composite floor deck and B roof deck for the Bulldog Stadium — a landmark athletics facility for the La Porte Independent School District. The project required precision-cut steel to accommodate the curved seating bowl geometry, with all pieces delivered on schedule to keep the construction timeline on track.
Richmond K-8 School
Richmond, TX
Cutting Edge Decking provided 1.5" B roof deck for the Richmond K-8 School, a modern K-through-8 educational facility in the Fort Bend ISD. Designed by Pivot North and engineered by JFTE Engineers, the project demanded tight tolerances and an accelerated delivery schedule — both of which Cutting Edge met without issue.
VROC (Veterinary Regional Orthopedic Center)
Austin, TX
The VROC (Veterinary Regional Orthopedic Center) is a state-of-the-art specialty animal hospital in Austin, TX. Cutting Edge Decking supplied both composite floor deck and non-composite roof deck to support the facility's multi-level structure. The project required multiple deck profiles to meet varying span and load requirements across different areas of the building.
Waller County Courthouse
Hempstead, TX
The new Waller County Courthouse in Hempstead, TX required three distinct deck profiles across its floors and roof systems. Cutting Edge Decking supplied over 570 squares of steel deck — from lightweight 1.5" composite on the upper floors to heavier 2.0" composite sections at grade. All material was Grade 50, cut to length, and delivered on the GC's phased schedule.
Capital Security Courthouse

The Capital Security Courthouse in Alexandria, Louisiana is a high-security federal facility requiring dual-profile steel decking across its floor and roof systems. Cutting Edge Decking supplied 1.5" B roof deck and 2.0" composite floor deck — both Grade 50 — to meet the structural specifications set by Dally & Associates. Material was fabricated and delivered on time despite the out-of-state logistics.

Georgetown Block 37 is a mixed-use commercial development in the heart of Georgetown, TX's fast-growing downtown district. The project showcases the company's ability to coordinate multiple deck profiles for a single building — delivered on schedule to match the structural steel erection pace.

FLEX 24 is a commercial flex-industrial facility in Conroe, TX designed by Arcadis. Cutting Edge Decking supplied both composite floor deck and B roof deck — fabricated to exact lengths with no jobsite waste. The efficient coordination between Cutting Edge and CJG Engineers ensured material arrived correctly sized and ready for immediate installation.

FLEX 25 is the second phase of the Conroe flex-industrial campus developed alongside FLEX 24. Cutting Edge Decking supplied the same dual-profile system — 2.0" composite floor deck and 1.5" B roof deck — allowing the same fabrication workflow to carry over and speed up the second phase delivery.
SpaceX Megabay
Brownsville, TX
The SpaceX Megabay at Starbase in Brownsville, TX is one of the most high-profile industrial construction projects in the United States. Cutting Edge Decking supplied 1.5" composite floor deck at 18 gauge, Grade 50 — engineered to WSP's structural specifications. The project included many deck pieces shorter than 6 feet, which Cutting Edge fabricated down to 1'–10" at no extra charge, a level of flexibility that made Cutting Edge the right partner for this precision-critical job.
White Water Express Hampton
Dallas, TX
White Water Express is a premium express car wash brand expanding across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Hampton location required 1.5" B roof deck at 18 gauge — lighter gauge for the long clear-span canopy roof typical of car wash facilities. Cutting Edge Decking fabricated and delivered the material to match the steel erection schedule, keeping the fast-track retail project on time.
White Water Express Alliance
Fort Worth, TX
The Alliance location of White Water Express in Fort Worth is the second car wash facility Cutting Edge Decking supplied for this brand. Using the same 1.5" B roof deck at 18 gauge, Grade 50 spec, Cutting Edge leveraged the repeat-order relationship to deliver faster and at tighter tolerances than the first project — a benefit of working with a direct manufacturer rather than a distributor.
Harris Health Central Utility Plant
Houston, TX
The Harris Health Central Utility Plant is a critical infrastructure facility supporting the Harris Health System hospital network in Houston. General contractor Tellepsen Builders required both 1.5" B roof deck and 2" composite floor deck in G90 galvanized finish — the heavy-duty galvanization required for mechanical plant environments. Cutting Edge Decking worked directly with structural engineer Martinez Moore and Green, Rubiano & Associates to ensure every piece met the exacting specification.
Harris Health Central Fill Pharmacy
Houston, TX
The Harris Health Central Fill Pharmacy is a high-volume medication dispensing facility serving the Harris Health System network across Houston. General contractor Skanska USA and structural engineer Martinez Moore specified G90 galvanized deck throughout — both 1.5" B roof deck and 2" composite floor deck — to handle the pharmaceutical environment's humidity requirements. Cutting Edge Decking fabricated and delivered the full scope on Skanska's aggressive schedule.
IL Texas Liberty HS
Cleveland, TX
IL Texas Liberty High School in Cleveland, TX is a large-format educational facility requiring three distinct deck profiles across its campus. Cutting Edge Decking supplied 22-gauge and 18-gauge 1.5" B roof deck for separate building zones, plus 2" composite floor deck for the elevated slab areas. General contractor Key Construction and structural engineer JFTE coordinated directly with Cutting Edge to phase deliveries alongside the steel erection sequence.
Houston Christian University Engineering Building
Houston, TX
The Houston Christian University Engineering Building is a purpose-built academic facility housing engineering labs, classrooms, and collaborative research spaces. Cutting Edge Decking supplied G90 galvanized 1.5" B roof deck and 2" composite floor deck to the Tellepsen Builders team, with structural engineering by the nationally respected Walter P Moore firm. The building represents a marquee academic project and a testament to Cutting Edge's ability to serve high-profile institutional clients.
